The Versailles woman taken into custody and charged with a weapons offense after a fatal shooting earlier this month is scheduled to be back in the courtroom seeking a bond reduction on Wednesday. Courthouse records indicate that Angela Keefe called authorities on August 12th to report a possible suicide by her boyfriend, identified as Justin Wittrock. Wittrock’s body was discovered in the bedroom area with a 9-millimeter handgun by his side and a .22 rifle nearby. Keefe, on probation for a felony domestic assault in 2014, allegedly admitted that she had known about the pistol and had handled it just a few days earlier when she gave it to Wittrock after claiming she heard a possible intruder outside the residence on West Williamson. She was taken into custody with bond set at $35-thousand. An autopsy was scheduled for last week but results have not been released as of this time.
