There are many ways you can stay safe from the coronavirus.

Health officials are recommending best practices for you and your family, such as sheltering in place and practicing social distancing.

It’s also recommended that you wash your hands for at least 20 seconds when you return home.

You can also keep a set of Lysol wipes or gloves on hand to use at grocery stories and gas stations.

But what about your home itself? Officials say just like any spring cleaning you may have already been planning, make sure to wipe down and disinfect everything you may come into contact with.

That includes door knobs, faucets, the kitchen counter, and even keyboards and light switches.

If Lysol sprays or wipes aren’t an option, you can use antibacterial cleaning sprays or cleaners such as magic erasers to cleanse the area on a day to day basis.
