Kickoff Scheduled for Tri-Counties Relay for Life

Preparations are underway for this year’s tri-counties Relay for Life. The event will again be held at Big Surf Water Park. Last year was the first time that organizers combined the relays from Morgan, Miller, and Camden counties into one event. Seth Freeman from the American Cancer Society says the event generated a lasting impression when area students decorated hundreds of luminaria bags in honor of cancer victims and survivors.

There’s a kickoff event for the relay planned for February 13th at the Branding Iron.

The kickoff will last from 6-8pm.
