Attorney General Chris Koster has announced Missouri consumers will receive more than $24 million dollars in a settlement that has been reached against ten L.C.D. manufacturers. As part of the settlement, Missourians who purchased TV’s and computers with L.C.D. screens between 1999 and 2006 and who filed claims for reimbursement from the settlements Koster reached with manufacturers will receive payment for their damages within three weeks. Those with legitimate claims can receive more than $43 for each monitor or notebook computer and more than $86 for any L.C.D. TV. According to reports, more than 25,000 residents and businesses filed claims.
