Hazardous Weather Outlook This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas. .DAY ONE...Tonight. Weather hazards expected... Limited excessive cold risk. Significant ice accumulation risk. Limited snow risk. DISCUSSION... Periods of freezing drizzle will continue across much of the area into tonight, lasting longest into late tonight across south- central Missouri. One to two tenths of an inch of ice is possible, with the highest amounts over south-central missouri. Light snow will mix with freezing drizzle at times across northern portions of the area. The greatest snow accumulations, up to a half inch, will be possible across central Missouri. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday. Light freezing drizzle will be possible at times on Tuesday. Another round of freezing drizzle is expected Tuesday night into Thursday morning, with significant ice accumulations possible over south-central Missouri. Unseasonable cold is expected for several days with the coldest temperatures late this week into the weekend. Low temperatures could fall into the single digits at times, especially Thursday and Friday nights. Low temperatures near or just below zero are possible Saturday night. Wind chill values will be well below zero at times.
