For Tonight: Overcast with lows around 8. Winds turning northeast around 5 mph.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS
Slow down and use caution while traveling. In Kansas, road conditions can be obtained by calling 5 1 1.
WHAT
Snow. General storm total snow accumulation of 2 to 5 inches.
WHERE
Far southeast Kansas and central, east central, south central, southwest and west central Missouri.
WHEN
Through 6 PM.
IMPACTS
Plan on snow covered roads. Cold wind chills near zero this morning will make for dangerous conditions if motorists become stranded.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
A band of heavier snow moving northeast through southeast Kansas and southwest Missouri now will be capable of a quick two inches of accumulation and poor visibility. This band will continue to lift northeast into central Missouri early this morning.
