An investigation is underway following a stabbing incident at the Laclede County Jail, involving a murder suspect.

According to Sheriff David Milsap, 2 inmates were rushed to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries after allegedly being stabbed by 29-year-old Dustin Lee Combs, who’s awaiting trial for the murder of 57-year-old Mark Pitts back in July this year.

Millsap says the assault was the result of a feud over the trading of coffee.
