A man is facing sex crime charges in Laclede County following a report of a child sexual assault in August.
The Sheriff’s office says 47-year-old Gene Bowman JR was picked up on a warrant issued earlier this month.
Court documents show Bowman is being accused of sexual groping and other sex crimes involving a child under 14 years old and dating back to three years ago.
He’s being held at the Laclede County jail on no bond with a preliminary hearing set for Tuesday October 6th.
