Laclede County Suspicious Death Ruled Homicide – Police Looking For Missing Truck

A suspicious death investigation in Laclede County is now being ruled as a homicide.

The Laclede County Sheriff’s Office says 57-year-old Mark Allan Pitts was found dead by a relative on Thursday, at his home on the 25000 block of Highway YY.

Speaking with KY 3 TV, Sheriff David Millsap says “We are currently following several leads, and speaking with people who knew and associated with the victim.”

Officials say the man’s truck is missing and they’re asking the public for help in locating it.

It’s a red 1999 Chevy Silverado with a toolbox in the bed and rust over the rear wheels, bearing Missouri license plate number 0HD-A10.
