Laclede Electric customers will be paying more starting with this month’s billing cycles. The cooperative has announced rate hikes on residential and commercial service availability charges and the residential energy rate. The average residential customer, using 1300 kilowatt hours per month, will see their bill go up by $4.30 from $129.30 to $133.60. You should have received a notice of the rate changes on your March and April bills. The new rates take affect beginning April 20th.
