A number of lake area airports are getting help from the federal government as flight activity has dropped some 96% due to the Coronavirus.

The Department of Transportation is awarding the state $152.5 Million dollars in emergency funding, as part of the CARES Act.

Camdenton Memorial, Eldon Airpark and Floyd W Jones Airfield in Lebanon will each be receiving $30,000.

The Grand Glaze Airport and Lee C Fine in Osage Beach, as well as the Warsaw Municipal airport will each be receiving just $20,000.

Columbia Regional is receiving more than $18 Million dollars while Springfield-Branson is getting just under $10 Million.
