Lake Area Boat Dealer Plans Virtual Boat Show

One local boat dealer’s finding a way around boat shows that are cancelled due to the pandemic.

It’s called a virtual boat show.

Jeremy Anderson, GM at Big Thunder Marine in Lake of the Ozarks.

He says the technology is similar to what Google maps and some real estate professionals use to show off houses virtually and with a 360-degree perspective.

Anderson says the virtual strategy is something Big Thunder Marine will keep using and he expects other industries to do the same thing, possibly after the pandemic is over.
