Two Stover residents received injuries in a wreck in Benton County. 20-year old Shelby Folsom was flown to University Hospital with serious injuries, while 23-year old Chance Ahrens was treated at the scene for minor injuries. The accident happened on Route W at 8:00 p.m. Wednesday. The vehicle they were in went off the road and hit a guardrail. The wild ride didn’t end there, however. According to the Highway Patrol, the vehicle then vaulted and overturned, landing in a nearby creek. Both victims were wearing seatbelts.
A 28-year old man from Macks Creek is flown to the hospital after an accident in Cooper County. Isaiah Laws was in a vehicle traveling westbound on Country Club Drive early Thursday morning when it went off the road while going around a curve. The Chevy Suburban hit a concrete wall and overturned. Both Laws and the driver,34-year old Joey Hampton of Jefferson City, suffered moderate injuries. Neither was wearing a seatbelt.
