MoDOT crews have cleared state roads — first plowing snow and then applying salt and other chemicals and sand. This afternoon, they were plowing off shoulders and working in areas where drifting was occurring.
A Miller County snow plow got stuck in a drift this morning, on Hachler Lane west of Eldon. Another county road worker was able to pull the truck out of the drift.
Osage Beach police say it’s hard to believe, but there were no reported crashes or other snow-related incidents over the weekend.
The the Lake area has had two snowstorms since spring officially started last week. At this time last year, it was 77 degrees at the Lake.
