Five Lake of the Ozarks school districts have received awards from the Missouri State Highway Patrol for exemplary bus maintenance. Camdenton, School of the Osage, Morgan County R-II (Versailles), Macks Creek, and Dogwood Hills State School districts all had more than 90 percent of their buses pass Highway Patrol inspection. The five other lake area school districts did not meet the 90 percent approved requirement for the award.
Capt. Gregory D. Kindle, commanding officer, Troop F, Missouri State Highway Patrol, announced the results of the 2011 Troop F area school bus inspections. Three school districts had all of their buses pass inspection. Iberia R-5 passed all of its 15 buses, Tuscumbia R-3 passed all seven of that district’s buses and Eugene R-5 passed all 12 of its buses.
