The annual drawdown continues on Lake of the Ozarks, at least for a little while longer. Jeff Green is Supervisor of Shoreline Management for Ameren-Missouri. Green says, while the water levels are down, it’s a good time to inspect docks and seawalls for any potential damage because the process of bringing the lake back up to full pool is expected to begin again soon.
The lake level currently sits a little higher than the 654 mark. Green goes on to say that Ameren anticipates bringing the lake back up to around full pool, or the 660 mark, in time for the Memorial Day holiday weekend.
