Lake Area driving conditions are treacherous almost everywhere as snow remains frozen across the lake area.

“Around Camdenton we had a report of 4 inches of snow, and near Osage Beach we saw 2 inches and that matches pretty well with the rest of the reports we’ve seen across the region” says Meteorologist Ray Miller in the Weatherology Weather Center.

He tells KRMS News there’s a chance for more snow starting late tonight into Wednesday, and it’s estimated the lake could see an additional 2 to 4 inches of snow…depending on the area.

Temperature Records were broken early this morning, with Springfield seeing -14 degrees….besting the previous record of -1 set in the early 1900s.
