Lake House 13 Deemed a Total Loss After Fire

A lake area restaurant is totally destroyed after an early-morning fire.  The blaze at Lake House 13 in Sunrise Beach began during the 6 o’clock hour Tuesday morning.  Sunrise Beach Fire Chief Dennis Reilly says the extensive damages will make it difficult to determine the exact cause of the fire.

 

Some nearby residents have reported hearing an explosion just before the fire began.  Sunrise Beach FPD was assisted by Lake Ozark, Osage Beach, and Rocky Mount.  The State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating.
