The 2013 Lake of the Ozarks Airshow is coming back this weekend. Over 5,000 people visited the event last year and now they’re set for an even bigger show with a classic P51 Mustang along with a Pit’s performer and a race between airplanes and cars on the ground. Corey Leuwerke with the Camdenton Airport says there is a different plane taking veterans out this year
Leuwerke says they’ve got a full slate of planes this year including a very special ride on Friday
Leuwerke says Saturday is the big day
The full show starts Saturday morning with a big breakfast and continues throughout the day wrapping up with the Jet truck. There is no cost to get into the event but there is a $5 parking charge to park near the airport. Or you can park in the high school parking lot and ride the free shuttle to the airport.
