It’s almost time for the annual Lake of the Ozarks Shootout.
While the main event is next weekend, three smaller events are starting this weekend.
That includes the “Run what ya brung” poker run, which starts this morning at Captain Ron’s and ends at Backwater Jacks.
From Noon until 4PM you can participate in the Meet and Greet at Bridal Cave.
And this Saturday from 9AM until 5PM is the annual Mini Shootout at the Springs in Ha Ha Tonka.
That features numerous RC Powerboats that get speeds of up to 120 Miles an hour.
Here’s a full rundown of events leading up to the race:
Friday August 21:
Run What Ya Brung Poker Run between 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM, starting at Captain Ron’s and ending at Backwater Jack’s.
Saturday/Sunday August 21st through 23rd:
The Annual Mini-Shootout at the Springs area of Ha Ha Tonka State Park, along with a Meet and Greet at Bridal Cave.
Friday: 5 PM to 8 PM Meet & Greet at Bridal Cave
Saturday: 9 AM to 5PM Mini Shootout races at The Springs in Ha Ha Tonka
Sunday: 9 AM to 12PM Mini Shootout races continue with Awards Ceremonies to follow.
Tuesday August 25th
Shootout Hall Of Fame Dinner at The Stables at Cannon Smoked Saloon
Social hour starts at 6:00 PM, with dinner to follow at 7:00 PM and Honoree Inductions at 8:30 PM.
***Tickets for the dinner are $35.00 or $350 for a table that includes two commemorative bottles of Shootout wine.
Wednesday August 26th
Shootout on the Strip Social Party/Meet and Great event.
Thursday August 27th
Poly Lift & Lakefront Living Realty Poker Run Meet & Greet/Pre-Registration at Performance Boat Center from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM
Friday August 28th
Poly Lift & Lakefront Living Realty Poker Run starts at Captain Rons at 8:00 AM and ends at Performance Boat Center with an awards ceremony.
Saturday and Sunday August 29th and 30th
32nd Annual Lake of the Ozarks Shootout at Captain Rons or the 33 1/2 Mile Mark of the Main Channel.

Supercat Fest at Camden On The Lake at 8:00 PM
The Wishing on a ride event and the annual treasure hunt at Captain Ron’s have been postponed until 2021 due to COVID 19.
