A sign greeting visitors to the Lake of the Ozarks is back in service after a lightning strike damaged the electronics that made it change colors. Lake Area Chamber Director K.C. Cloke says Advanced Lighting helped revamp the sign.
Cloke says adding other colors was cost-prohibitive because it required more maintenance and the sign’s location is difficult to access. In addition to the new lighting system, the letters of the sign were also cleaned up to improve the appearance just in time for the start of the season.
