During last night’s Lake Ozark Board of Aldermen Meeting, the Board approved the second reading of a couple bills that change the qualifications to run for public office. One of the bills requires anyone running for Mayor to show evidence, such as a driver’s license, to prove they live within the city. City Administrator Dave Van Dee says the reason behind that bill was pretty simple.
The next Board of Aldermen Meeting, which was scheduled for November 8th, has been rescheduled to the 9th due to the election.
