Lake Ozark Ballot Info Still Available Despite Cancelled Town Halls

If the saying is true that the best advertising is by word of mouth, then the City of Lake Ozark has some work to do in getting out that word about two upcoming ballot issues in April. The two issues were expected to be main topics during a series of town hall meetings which have, now, been cancelled due to COVID-19 concerns. The city is trying to borrow up to $6-million for bonding purposes to go toward much-needed street improvements and to establish a use-tax on businesses outside of Missouri selling items online to Lake Ozark residents. The two issues are scheduled to be voted on, at least for the time being, on April 7th.
