Several items were discussed during Tuesday Night’s meeting of the Lake Ozark board of alderman. An ordinance was passed authorizing the mayor to execute an amendment on behalf of the city regarding sanitary sewer improvements. The board also approved the first reading of a bill that amends the municipal code that allows applications to be submitted for special events 90 days in advance as opposed to the current 40 day requirement allowing more time for planning and advertising. In other business, the board approved a financial advisory agreement with W.M. financial strategies. The city has worked with the company for several years regarding special financing for specific waste water treatment projects. It was also announced a portion of fish haven road between Hickory drive and Missouri route 242 will be closed following the public hearing.
