The city of Lake Ozark is now charging a per unit base charge for all of its city water users. The city approved the change unanimously at last night’s board meeting. City Administrator Dave Van Dee says a recent story in a local newspaper which said the the city was $200,000 in the hole in its water fund was not entirely accurate, not taking into account the separation of water and sewer into two funds.
Van Dee says the city is concerned about water revenues.
Last night the city also placed requirements for water connections back into the city code that were inadvertently removed back in 2010.
