The budget for 2014 is in place for the city of Lake Ozark. At their meeting on Tuesday night, the Board of Alderman passed the budget by a vote of six to nothing. Lake Ozark City Administrator Dave Van Dee says sales tax numbers in the city were up for 2013 which has an impact on the 2014 budget.
The budget for 2014 will allow the city to hire one full time person in the sewer department. The city will also purchase two new vehicles for the police department. These will be paid for in cash rather than being financed.
