The City of Lake Ozark is taking another step towards the creation of a Transportation Development District.
The Board of Alderman has approved the first reading of the ordinance, and now the second reading is coming up January 26.
Mayor Gerry Murawski tells KRMS News he’ll file a petition with the Miller County Circuit Court and then voters will make the final decision in April.
If approved, the TDD would collect up to three-quarters of a cent in sales tax to generate money for the repairs on Bagnell Dam BLVD and more.
The TDD would be made up of business and property owners in the district.
