Four more outdoor warnings sirens are being planned by the City of Lake Ozark.
Right now there are two sirens in the city at the fire stations on Bagnell Dam Boulevard and Welsh Road, but they don’t cover all areas.
Dave Van Dee is the City Administrator for Lake Ozark.
He tells KRMS News about the purpose of the sirens.
Van Dee says once your indoors, it’s still a good idea to stay tuned to KRMS Radio or to a weather warning app to get more details on severe weather when it’s in the Lake Area.
