The Lake Ozark Fire Protection District has released their end-of-the-year statistical analysis for 2019, and it was another busy year for them. They finished the year with 1443 calls. The run totals followed similar patterns to those of other departments.
Chief Mark Amsinger says the majority of calls, 841,were EMS runs. The district added a third ambulance and hired 11 new crew members to run it. Their new fire boat also saw a lot of action.
They responded to 19 water-related calls during the year.
