The city of Lake Ozark is moving forward with their plans to improve the Tornado Sirens.

Officials say the recent survey done that shows the city needs 4 additional sirens to blanket the area with ample coverage.

The study was paid for by a grant through the Lake of the Ozarks Council of Local Governments.

The city says they are looking at finding grants to cover the costs of the sirens, or other forms of funding, such as a lease to own like they did with the previous sirens.
