A Lake Ozark man with a lengthy criminal history is in trouble again in Miller County. Edward Brewer has several cases pending across the lake area from earlier this year, including charges for firearms and drug violations as well as stealing a motor vehicle. Now he’s charged with second-degree assault special victim, armed criminal action, and resisting arrest by the Eldon Police. The latest charges stem from an incident in late October. A few days before, Brewer allegedly stole a vehicle from Osage Beach. On October 21st Eldon Police responded to a report of the stolen vehicle at Wood’s Supermarket. Brewer allegedly rammed the police cruiser and a chase ensued reaching speeds of over 100 mph. Authorities have identified Brewer through a passenger that exited the vehicle during the pursuit. A warrant has been issued with a $150,000 bond.
