A Lake Ozark man wanted on Miller County warrants now faces several new charges after being taken into custody following a high speed pursuit near Iberia. The highway patrol indicates that it happened early Tuesday afternoon on Tavern Creek Road, south of Iberia, when 47-year-old Christopher Wilkin led authorities on the pursuit which reached a speed of 106 miles per hour in the 55 mile-per-hour zone. Wilkin is charged, according to the highway patrol report, with felony resisting along with several traffic-related offenses. Wilkin had also been wanted on two felony warrants and a misdemeanor warrant out of Miller County…the felony warrants for charges of stealing a motor vehicle and failure to appear for driving while revoked. Wilkin is being held in the Miller County Jail on no bond.
