A Lake Ozark man is behind bars after an infant in his custody tested positive for multiple drugs. Police Chief Gary Launderville says officers were called to the home late Sunday night and, upon arrival, discovered an unresponsive 15-mth-old infant. Officers started first aid and transported the infant to Lak Regional with assistance from the Lake Ozark Fire District. Multiple illegal drugs were, reportedly, found in the home and two people were arrested at the scene. Testing at the hospital showed that the infant had methamphetamine, opiates and oxycodone in its system. The child has been taken into protective custody by Family Services while Nickolas Malan, of Lake Ozark, was taken into custody and booked into the Camden County Jail on a charge of Child Abuse. His bond was set at $100-thousand cash-only.
