The driver of the boat involved in an accident late Wednesday night has been formally charged. Christopher Miller of Lake Ozark is facing one count of BWI causing serious physical injury. The highway patrol report from the accident had also indicated a possible charge of failure to use the highest degree of care while operating a vessel. Miller was allegedly driving a boat just after 11:30 Wednesday night when it hit the shoreline, ejecting 34-year old Katherine Miller. She was seriously injured and taken to University Hospital in Columbia.
