The Lake Ozark Board of Alderman met in regular session Tuesday night. After much discussion, the Board authorized City Administrator Dave Van Dee to begin drafting a job description for the city’s recommended account clerk. Van Dee stated it is important to realize that this is only the start of the process and that each proposal will be reviewed by the city’s attorney to insure that the description and position meet state standards. The Board also reviewed the 2014 annual audit. The purpose of the audit was to assess the overall financial health of the city and its practices. In other business, the Board tabled discussion on a contract and job description for the chief of police.
