The Lake Ozark Police Department is looking at buying a new vehicle. During last night’s Board of Aldermen meeting, Chief Gary Launderville approached the board and received approval to move forward with his plan to purchase a new vehicle, which is already in the budget for this year. He says it’s getting down to the wire on whether they will order the vehicle or not in time for this year’s budget. The board approved the purchase of a separate vehicle in February, which he says hasn’t arrived yet. During the next meeting, Chief Launderville will present bids from three different dealers, a Ford dealer, a Chevy dealer, and a Dodge dealer.
