Lake Ozark Police Chief Warns of New IRS Scam

 

This time of year, IRS scams are extremely popular and every year the scammers try a new tactic. Lake Ozark Chief Gary Launderville says this year isn’t any different.

Chief Launderville also says they like to target senior citizens. He also points out that if anyone calls telling you that you have an arrest warrant it’s most likely a scam because, if you do have a warrant, a law enforcement agency will not call you. They will, however, show up at your doorstep.
