Lake Ozark’s police department is fully staffed – just in time for the busy summer event season. The Board of Aldermen last night approved hiring their 13th officer. Cory Anderson returns to the department where he previously served for six years. Chief Gary Launderville says that experience will be a big boost for the department.
Anderson helped the department at last week’s Magic Dragon Street Meet. They did have an altercation with a couple of people, but overall, Chief Launderville says the weekend went very well.
Anderson was sworn in after the meeting and is now officially back on duty.
