Earlier this year Lake Ozark began the process to evaluate their city streets in order to develop a comprehensive paving plan. An engineering firm has been working on a complete analysis of the street system to assess current conditions and establish a priority list of projects. City Administrator Dave Van Dee says the analysis will also help them identify sources of funding to improve their streets.
As the street study nears completion, Van Dee says they’ll get a better of idea of which roads are in the worst shape and the best way to approach the needed repairs.
The comprehensive study is expected to be completed by the end of the year.
