An amendment to a recently-adopted noise ordinance tops the agenda for the Lake Ozark Board of Aldermen meeting this week. Earlier this year, the city adopted an ordinance banning amplified music after 11pm on weeknights and midnight Fridays and Saturdays. Now the board is looking to amend that to provide an exception for businesses. The new amendment would essentially waive the time limits during state holidays. The ordinance allows establishments to file a special event permit to receive extended hours. The board is expected to vote on the replacement ordinance when they meet Tuesday at 6pm in Lake Ozark City Hall.
