One of the bigger issues the City of Lake Ozark is trying to work on before the next season rolls around in the spring will be parking…especially along the lower end of the strip near Bagnell Dam. That big parking lot, which many had used in the past, probably won’t be an option according to Administrator Dave VanDee because, bottom line, it’s private property.
The city has added some parking by the church near the top of the strip and in the area where the old police department was. Plans are to work on the curb-line on the lower end of the strip to try putting in more parking while, at the same time, continuing to meet with owners of the big parking lot to see if some type of agreement can be reached for using it.
