Lake Ozarks Residents To Vote On Revenue Bonds/Use Tax In June

All News Wednesday, May 20th, 2020

Residents in Lake Ozark will see two issues on the upcoming June 2nd ballot.

Voters will be given a chance to say yes or no to a question that allows the city to issue revenue bonds, up to $6 Million dollars, in order to improve transportation infrastructure.

Another question will be to approve a use tax, which requires online companies to charge a tax for products sold online to the Lake Ozark area.

Officials say, if that is approved, they plan to use it to offset existing transportation improvements.
