The Lake of the Ozarks Watershed Alliance public meeting is scheduled 6:30 p.m., May 16 at the Outlook/Truman Dam Visitors Center in Warsaw . Scott Robinett, an Environmental Specialist with the Missouri Department of Natural Resources, will be there to talk about DNR’s Lake of the Ozarks E. coli Cove Study. Robinette will also have the results of the first four years of the survey and present plans for the upcoming monitoring season.

LOWA Project Manager Caroline Toole will have the latest information on the LOWA 319 grant and the LOWA LILs program.
LOWA LILs are steps lake property owners can take to protect lake water quality. Among the things you can do: using rain
gardens, native plants, vegetated buffer strips, rain barrels, and pervious pavement, to keep rain water pollution from flowing into the lake.
