Lake Regional Offering Free Colorectal Cancer Screening Kits in March

As we approach March, we’re reminded that it’s Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month. Colorectal cancer is the third-most commonly diagnosed cancer in the United States and the third-leading cause of cancer death. It’s also one of the most curable forms of cancer, if detected early enough. Lake Regional Health System is offering free colorectal cancer screening kits to the public through March 31st. Once you receive the kit, provide three samples and return them for testing. The lab work and results are also being offered free of charge.
