Lakeland Road Construction Planned For Monday Through Friday Next Week

Plans to improve Lakeland Road between Highway 54 in Meads Flats and W in Lake Ozark are getting the green light.

The city was approached by the Bagnell Special Road District earlier this week with the idea of finishing the project from one end to the other.

He tells KRMS it shouldn’t take long for contractor, Capital Paving, to have the roadway completely upgraded.

Van Dee says the city’s portion of the cost is around $60,000.

Work is expected to start Monday and should be completed by Friday, weather permitting.
