Speak now or forever hold your peace…representatives from MoDOT were on hand Tuesday afternoon, at the Mt. Carmel Church in Lake Ozark, for a public meeting to take comments about a proposed interchange in the area of Hwy-54 and Route-W. Project Manager Ryan Libbert says, first and foremost, he was pleased with the turnout for the meeting.
Libbert also says that any comments taken during the meeting will be considered before a final draft of the project is put in stone.
Current plans are calling for a tight diamond interchange plus three roundabouts with dedicated lanes to keep traffic flowing. The total project cost is estimated to run between $8-10-million. The project will be put out to bid during the summer of 2019 with a construction schedule of up to two years.
