Some potentially good news regarding a waterline replacement project tops the agenda for the Laurie Board of Aldermen. According to a report from Bartlett & West, the Department of Natural Resources has earmarked a possible $985,000 grant for the project, which totals 75% of the overall cost. That will be discussed when the board meets in regular session Tuesday at 6pm. Prior to that, they’ll hold a hearing beginning at 5:30 to hear comments and consider revoking a city merchant license. The agenda did not list the business in question or the possible reasons for revoking the license. Both meetings will be held in Laurie City Hall.
