Laurie Continues To Work On Road Issues

Road issues continue to be a hot topic of discussion in the City of Laurie. At this week’s Board of Alderman meeting, City Attorney Steve Grantham explained research he had done regarding the private streets in Ozark Meadows and Wellington Woods as residents are asking to have them turned over to the City for maintenance. Once all the research is done, the board will consider whether or not to approve the request. In other business, the board accepted a bid from quality chip n seal to make repairs to several city streets. Due to weather and budget constraints the work is not expected to done until 2015.
