Laurie Police Chief Mark Black
The chief of police in Laurie will remain the same, but one police officer is out.
The Board of Alderman opened an investigation into the police department May 26th and it wrapped up June first.
The Board unanimously voted to keep police chief Mark Black, who’ll come off paid leave Wednesday.
But police officer Angela Nickerson has been fired.
The Board met with each full-time member of the police department before making the decision.
No other details are known at this time.
