Lawmakers Debate More Capitol Cameras

Several Missouri senators say more security cameras should be installed in the state Capitol to deter people from committing crimes. There are 20 in the Capitol now. The bill was introduced after someone got into the building in January and put orange stickers resembling gun targets on five lawmakers’ office nameplates. An estimate for 48-more cameras is about $100,000. A few Republicans have an issue with that price tag, and say it’d be a pricey overreaction.
